Things to remember

• Attend any de-brief sessions run by your department or the IPO. These may be compulsory.
• Look out for events to help you use your international experience for your future career: the IPO, AMBS and Residence Abroad run careers workshops for returned students, and individual departments may have events, too.
• If you’re interested in an international career, make the most of the resources on offer from the Careers Service. 
• Apply to be a Global Guidance Ambassador (if you’re eligible). 
• Keep in touch! Future students need your help and expertise: stay active on relevant social media groups, volunteer to help out at events run by the IPO or your School, and take part in the Global Friends programme to help incoming students get settled in Manchester.
