Before you go abroad you will have the opportunity to attend a number of university co-ordinated pre-departure training and briefing sessions, in addition to anything that may be being offered by your school or placement provider.
These pre-departure sessions are for students going abroad in 2025-26.
N.B WHERE DUPLICATE SESSIONS ARE HELD, STUDENTS ARE ONLY REQUIRED TO ATTEND ONE OF EACH OF THE COMPULSORY SESSION DATES. ATTENDANCE WILL BE MONITORED!

The workshop aims to help you more effectively communicate in a range of cultural settings and to start to develop key intercultural skills that are highly sought after by today’s employers.
