Become a Global Guidance Ambassador

Our Global Guidance Ambassadors (GGAs) are students that have studied abroad.  They work with the International Programmes Office (IPO) to help promote and support international opportunities and provide a valuable student perspective.  As a GGA you will respond to enquiries, support students who are interested in studying abroad, help organise events, assist with the predeparture sessions, and deliver promotional talks.

As a Global Guidance Ambassador you would be appointed to work in the Atrium hub in University Place for the full academic year, working 2 regular shifts of 3-5 hours per week, during term time (excluding examination periods).  This is a paid position and full training will be provided.



To be eligible to apply for a Global Guidance Ambassador you must have completed a semester or year abroad as part of your studies at The University of Manchester. You must also be a current undergraduate student.

Note: Medicine students, summer school students and postgraduate students are NOT eligible to apply.
